China has a lot of jobs available to those with bachelor's degrees. Bachelor's plus ESL, TESOL, or any other language teaching certification is better. CELTA training opens doors to other countries.  Teaching experience also preferred but perhaps not required. These can be excellent jobs. Usually include salary of between $1,000-$2000/monthly, depending on location and actual teaching hours. Three months paid vacation, annual bonus ~$1500, usually a private two bedroom apartment. Actual teaching hours vary between 12 and 24/weekly. Age from 25-55. ELIC (English Language Institute, China)and Dave's ESL cafe offer good resource material and actual job descriptions.  University positions are probably best. Highschoolers are fixated on their college entrance exam and most find oral English a waste of time. Most of these positions are teaching oral English, not grammar. 

One good approach is to simply apply for positions advertised on Dave's job board, take a reasonable offer, and get started. If you like the job and the country, you can begin your career or depending on your plans, enhance your resume with foreign experience. A recent acquaintance, now employed by the U.S. A. State Department,  began his career teaching English in China.

Overt religious activity such as baptizing new believers, communion services, actual "church" services with singing, prayer,and sermon will likely result in job termination.
