Administrators Naomi Posted January 6, 2006 Administrators Posted January 6, 2006 perhaps we won't have to stand in line so long at the Post Offices. {yeal, riiiiight} Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
cricket Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Serious question: does your post office usually have a line? Our's hardly ever has a line. Quote
Amelia Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 My little post office rarely has a line, even during the holidays. I got my 2 cent stamps already and forgot that the raise didnt start until the 8th. I've already been using them. <img src="/ubbtreads/images/graemlins/AAdoh.gif" alt="" /> Quote <p><span style="color:#0000FF;"><span style="font-weight:bold;"><span style="font-style:italic;">"Do not use harmful words, but only helpful words, the kind that build up and provide what is needed, so that what you say will do good to those who hear you."</span></span> Eph 4:29</span><br><br><img src="http://banners.wunderground.com/weathersticker/gizmotimetemp_both/US/OR/Fairview.gif" alt="Fairview.gif"> Fairview Or</p>
Dottie Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Ther are three post offices that I use. One always has a long line, another sometimes has a line, and the other one rarely does. They all serve approximately the same type of area. The difference is in the number of stations that are open. I think that would be at the discretion of the postmaster. Quote

cricket Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 QBJFN is in St. Louis. Naomi, you're welcome to visit the post offices here! Do any of you ever buy stamps at other locations? I usually get mine at the vending machines at the post office, but sometimes I buy them at the grocer's as well. Quote
Ron Lambert Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Why didn't they make first class postage 40¢ and postcard postage 25¢? Leave it to the USPS, who institutionalize the counter-intuitive! Quote
Amelia Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 Maybe they enjoy being odd?
