that's not a video I would share with anyone.... not because it doesn't have a "message," but because it feeds on the same emotionality that Satan himself uses...

just imho...

Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup.

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony.

Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

I watched it!

:)

That's all I'm going to say.

For all Eternity God waited in anticipation for  You  to show up to give You a Message - YOUR INCLUDED !!! { a merry dance }?️‍?

" If you tarry 'til you're better
You will never come at all "   .. "I Will Rise" by the late great saved  Glen Campbell

If your picture of God is starting to feel too good to be true, you're starting to move in the right direction. :candle:

"My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have, for both are infinite."

The video wasn't supposed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Perhaps not.  But what positive thing does it accomplish?

"Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good."

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal."

"I love God only as much as the person I love the least."

*Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth.

(And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

Oh, good grief! What positive thing do a lot of postings here at C/A accomplish?

Didn't force you to watch it. I thought it had value, but everyone is different. If you don't like it, move along.

I hadn't watched it before all the hubbub in the comments, but I'm glad I did watch it. And I'm thankful the video was shared. I realize that it's not something everyone here would appreciate, but the style in which it was presented is a hook to draw the audience into the message. Much like CS Lewis's Screwtape Letters, it is a modern-day glimpse into the "mind" of Satan. I agree with Photodude, it's not meant to make someone feel warm and fuzzy. It's made to make a person think about the everyday things we engage in, and who's behind the evil.

Most people at CA already are aware of the evils of this world, but it wasn't artistically styled to reach the members of CA. I do know a few people I could share this with--but not here.

:reyes:  It was an honest, sincere question.  Why did you share it here?  Why did you think we would find it useful, beneficial or of value?  What did you see in that was true and beneficial to you?  That's not so difficult, is it?

Rather than getting all defensive and snippy why not respond as Aubrey has done.  I can see some purpose in it after reading Aubrey's post.  Not for me, but hey, if someone is given truth, by whatever means, it has value.  Limited maybe, but helpful to someone.

It was not meant to "evangelize" C/A. But it is a tool out there to make some think and see the contrast between Satan and God and the tools Satan uses to distract people from having any relationship with God. So, it can be helpful for some to ponder it. I would hope that most reading here are aware of the whole conflict. For those who have large social media followings or even lesser followings, I am sure that most have a number of friends that are not Christian. Some things may wake people up, and for others it takes a different approach.

"Defensive and snippy." Probably because I cannot remember any pleasant interactions with you about anything.

When the conversation about it by those who have watched it is like this, I figured it's best and safest not to watch it...

Hey, Photodude.  You discovered my secret.  I formulated a rebellion.  I removed the old potentate and took over.  However, as an act of mercy I left Stan with one kingdom to rule.  He remains Director of Financial Affairs with responsibility for all forum payments.

:)
