LifeHiscost Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 ------------------------------------the critics. Here is a comment from a viewer in answer to one of Doug Batchelor's sermons of preparing for our Lord's return. Notice, still, not a single SDA CULT member has given a direct answer to my questions. Not even a single SDA CULT member is brave enough to even answer this question: If a Catholic or Baptist never becomes a member of the SDA CULT and continues to attend Church Service on Sundays, yet sincerely and genuinely love Jesus and placed faith in Jesus to be their Lord and Saviour and trusts in the shed blood of the Lamb to wash away their sins, will they avoid getting the Mark of the Beast, be accepted by God and saved and have the right to enter the gates of heaven? Yes or No? Just give me a direct and honest answer. Matthew 5:37 Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and? your 'No,' 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one. Watch carefully folks.... all SDA CULT members will hide from this question, or falsely claim they have answered when in truth they never have, insult me instead, sidestep, desperately try to change topic so they can avoid answering, or use the old SDA CULT strategy of telling me to go read the Bible or EGW books and find the answer myself. The SDA CULT members will desperately try anything to avoid my questions because they realise if they answer truthfully, their answer will expose the legalistic and false gospel and salvation doctrine built on PURE LEGALISM and LOOKING OUTSIDE OF JESUS for complete salvation! But instead of admitting their error, they will defend the error to death in most cases, yet a few, very few, will renounce their SDA CULT membership, renounce EGW and come to Jesus and Holy Scriptures alone. [/quote] Considering I'm a settled SDA and have been for some 50 years I guess I fit into his assessment, except I would like to answer with a no, considering this scripture below. 1My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. 2He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world. 3And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. 4If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. 5But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. 6Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did....1 John 2 The key to the salvation of the one living as described above, once they know what is required by the Master, is repentance as described here. re·pent rəˈpent/ verb verb: repent; 3rd person present: repents; past tense: repented; past participle: repented; gerund or present participle: repenting feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin.
