I found one of the readers comments following them interesting: As I mentioned in my other comment, religious groups have been HELPING Ashley Madison for years. One day he took the boy into a separate room and punched him in the face. The boy was taken to a hospital ER. The police showed up at the ER, but the boy's mother refused to press charges against the pastor due to it being ingathering season and she did not want the church to endure bad publicity at that time of the year. Since we are not a court, but simply discussing an issue, I used the word as we have no real means of "trying as in a court of law" the guilt or innocence of anyone. Those who need names can do searches. But you did ask if anyone had been terminated and reinstated. I was merely replying that it was even worse. The pastor was moved to another church. The woman in the situation sued the church and she was fired. For my "troubles," it all hit the fan! Christ told Peter of his denial before it happened. Latter as the [censored] crowed and Peter realized what he had done, he would be forever reminded by the [censored] crowing and the fire of what he had done. Later when he and others were out fishing with out any catch a voice from the shore told them to fish on the other side. Peter recognized the voice and swam to shore and approached Christ. Christ ask him 3 times about his love for Christ. After Peter answered to the affirmative three time, Christ told him he was going to be the head of His, Christs, church. What would Peter now remember? That early morning fire and breakfast with Christ forgiveness and being made an important leader in the early church or back to his horrible mistake? What had now become important. I'm also reminded of Saul/Paul. From a murdering person using the name of God for his actions, to a true follower of Christ. I'm also reminded of the background of some of the other 12. Not likely to be made 'officers' in todays church!! I can find no way to pass judgement on the misdoings of others, knowing my own hidden ones, because I believe God is in control of all and under His guidance. We have an outstandingly forgiving God. Think I would rather think about those things than the muck of this world. Quote
