Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted October 25, 2015 Members Posted October 25, 2015 she'll be missed by a great number more than just family and friends... Maureen O'Hara was one of the last of an era, and hugely popular with enthusiasts of movies made back when gutter language, blatant sex, and nudity weren't needed to make a movie interesting... If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Moderators Kevin H Posted October 25, 2015 Moderators Posted October 25, 2015 This year has been a loss of a number of public figures who towered over other public figures and have tended to enter many people's quality world. Maureen O'Hara is another one. A very talented actress and brought true beauty to the medium without the cheep shortcuts that so often are used by Hollywood. She showed what it could be with high quality work, and she sets a land mark for us to go after in our jobs and interactions with others. Among many of us who never met her or seen her in person will miss her and will cherish the recordings of her work. rudywoofs (Pam), GayatfootofCross and phkrause 3 Quote
