Scuba Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Quote Sometimes our behavior needs time to catch up to our salvation...
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted November 13, 2015 Moderators Posted November 13, 2015 I assume that you are aware that some will consider the video to be offensive and mocking of Christians, revival and making a commitment to follow the leading of the Holly Spirit and Christ. NOTE: If you are aware of some of the other videos produced by the same people, you would not consider them to be Christian friendly. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory

Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted November 13, 2015 Moderators Posted November 13, 2015 There may be people who are not Christian friendly. But, in my opinion, you have used Club Adventist to mock basic ideas of revival in a Christian sense. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory

Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted November 13, 2015 Moderators Posted November 13, 2015 I understand where you are coming from. You thought it was funny. But, the fun part comes from mocking basic Christian values. In a sense this is the same kind of fun that people engaged in when White people played the parts of Black people and had the audience laughing at them. I grew up in a time when that was accepted. Thankfully, I have learned better. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted November 13, 2015 Members Posted November 13, 2015 I remember this song... I always thought it was pretty funny! Right up there with "Harper Valley PTA"... (And it's certainly no worse than the Barely Adventist articles that get posted here.) just my 2 cents :) Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Administrators Gail Posted November 13, 2015 Administrators Posted November 13, 2015 And I do think it has been posted before with no fallout Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted November 13, 2015 Moderators Posted November 13, 2015 O. K. Well, just a thought on my part. Quote Gregory
