Neil, a commercially available rice milk is "Rice Dream." They also make ice cream out of it. To me, it has a thinner taste and does not quite hit the spot like Silk soymilk does.

Norman, I lived with some people for a year or so who made their own milk out of raw cashews (purchased in bulk) which they boiled then blended in a blender. It was quite good. But I haven't seen anything like it available commercially.

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.

I use "Silk Plain" because it is the one which I can stand. I don't like the flavored types. My biggest problem is that no matter what I do, I can still taste the soybean, and I've never been a big fan of beans! But if I really feel the urge to have cow's milk (which isn't very often), I prefer the "Organic Valley," because regular milk tastes like a barn. And I grew up drinking milk from our own cow.
