Dear WAU Community,   Washington Adventist University will be holding a memorial service for Gladstone Gurubatham, PhD, on January 30, 2016, 4:00pm at Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church, located on campus.     Gurubatham, affectionately known as Dr. G, was a professor of psychology in the university's School of Arts and Sciences for more than 50 years, and was honored at the Washington Adventist University Visionaries Gala in 2014 with an award for his "Excellence in Teaching Psychology and Social Sciences, and Excellence in Educational Leadership."   The family requests that in lieu of flowers, gifts be made to Washington Adventist University for the creation of a memorial scholarship fund.
