As I understand it, this is an advertisment drawing attention to an organized effort on a certain day, to uphold the full ten commandments as worthy of consideration for daily life, refering only to a change of the day for this public effort. It has nothing to do with a change of the Sabbath commandment. However the way the advertisement is worded makes it appear ambiguous. Simply putting quotation marks around the words "Ten Commandments" would have made it unambiguous. Cheers!! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
Kountzer Posted January 22, 2006 Posted January 22, 2006 I just found out about this yesterday when I logged on here. This whole ten commandments commission & 10 commandments day is only a hop, skip and jump from a national sunday law. I noticed how all the well known tv preachers are lined up behind this. This definitely is worth paying attention to. DB Quote I prayed for twenty years but received no answer until I prayed with my legs. Frederick Douglass
Pockey Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I hope so. Hurry up and make the Sunday law. I'm ready to go home and get out of this place. Quote

Derrell M Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 "The Ten Commandments Day has been changed." And by the Ten Commandments Commission who are the self appointed defenders of the law I think Stan was enjoying the irony as well as giving info. Quote
SandyColorado Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 I guess that I will put in a plug for 3ABN. They are also planning on joining the bandwagon on the 10 commandments day. They are doing an almost 24 hour marathon starting Friday night May 5th and having prominent SDA preachers across the country discussing each commandment. This is an opportunity for us to get involved and order the book "The 10 commandments twice removed" and share it with our neighbors. 3ABN is offering it to churches in bulk - and all we have to do is pay the shipping costs. I think this is a wonderful chance to share the WHOLE 10 commandments with everyone - and it is a reminder that things are happening fast and that this world and all of it's yuckiness can't last much longer.
