And if He cleansed us from "all unrighteousness", as you see it, then we would not have to confess sin anymore because we would be cleansed from all sin. But John also states, "if we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves." You know, I think you are promoting salvation by works. Well, then we are at war once again.... I'm just promoting what the gospel states, whatever one wishes to call it. …22But prove yourselves doers of the Word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. 23For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was.…James 1 God is Love!~Jesus saves! The gospel is what Christ did in our humanity about 2000 years ago. What you are presenting is subtle legalism. You are presenting "another gospel." Quote

So we are saved, according to your view, by the keeping of God's law? Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Rom 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. Rom 4:4 What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. 5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness. Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them. Acts 15:10 Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.” Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage... 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. Your conclusion then is to avoid practicing the attributes of our Father's character. True or false? [ In setting aside the law of God, men know not what they are doing. God’s law is the transcript of His character. It embodies the principles of His kingdom. He who refuses to accept these principles is placing himself outside the channel where God’s blessings flow. {COL 305.3} In setting aside the law of God, men know not what they are doing. I made no conclusion, LifeHiscost. I merely quoted Scripture. I will try to attempt to answer your question if you first tell me how I, as a child of Adam after the fall, can produce righteousness acceptable to God's law (and remember it reads our motives) when Jesus states "without Me (I) can do nothing"? Jesus means nothing good, BTW. Quote

I've asked Him to accomplish His will in my life, to His glory. I believe He keeps His promises. 23"In that day you will not question Me about anything. I don't believe that's an automatic thing that God does. I think you have to submit before He can do anything. Besides, if you are counting on what God does in you to save you, God's Spirit will not work in you. Quote
