The use of humor to criticize someone or something and make them seem dishonorable has it's place .....perhaps..... in certain moments, but this website of Barely Adventist is breeding church members anti-feelings of SDAism.

I loved Bogenhofen.  Comparing or referring to Bogie in the same breath as Gitmo isn't funny or cute.  And satire it is not.

I have often wondered how a continual diet of mockery would affect one's mind. If a family member is told consistently that she is not pretty, or she is stupid, etc, after a while of this she will begin to believe it even if it is not true.

Just my two bits.

That's so true, Gail. I am a by-product of such mental bullying abuse over years of mockery from my older sister. It's left bad mental health in me concerning self-respect, lacking competetive ability, and inability of carrying important responsibility. 

However, I am convinced that there are thousands of disfunctional families who go though a much more wicked amount of mental suffering than what I ever experienced.
