Muslim/Christian Falsehoods

Very insightful article.  I agreed with all of it except the part that said Christians and Muslims worship the same God.  Just because someone calls an entity "God" or "god" doesn't make that "god" the "God of heaven".  Most of not all religions claim to worship the one true God/god).  Claiming it doesn't make it so.  Just as there is a God and gods,  there is an Allah and allahs.  Muslims do not worship Jesus or recognize Him as a deity;  Therefore they do not worship the same God that I worship.  My God has an only begotten Son.  Allah is one and he has no son.  My God is a God of love and mercy.  Allah is a god of war and submission.  It is the kindness of my God that draws us to repentance.  It is the vengeance and retribution of Allah that intimidates Muslims into submission.  Therefore Allah is not the same God as YHVH.  This fact will become evident in the last days.

That being said, I concede that many in both faiths THINK they worship the same God/god and those people are entitled to their opinions; just like I am entitled to mine. I also concede that there is a broad spectrum of beliefs in both faiths; and that most members of both faiths would likely prefer to be free to worship as they please; and have no desire to persecute or shun those who believe differently.  Jesus died to save all humanity; and He loves Muslims (and other non-Christians) just as much as He loves us.

Great article! Pretty much right on, and have read other articles and seen videos to that same fact!

In Indonesia and Malaysia, SDA's also refer to God as Allah. I wonder whether the Allah of the Arab Muslims which is the same Allah of the Indonesian and Malaysian Muslims, is different from the Allah of our Adventist brethren in Indonesia and Malaysia.

I would imagine that every language has its word for "GOD?" In all english speaking countries its "GOD." For Muslim speaking countries its Allah!

A teacher asked his class of 25 students to describe the school principal and by what pet name would they want him called. And he received 25 different descriptions of the same principal called with 5 different pet names. I think the fact that people describe God and call Him differently and end up with a conclusion there are many different Gods is any different from the conclusion that there are 5 different school principals.
