LilStar Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Last night one of the greatest men in my life passed away. He was a proud father, grandfather and recently a great grandfather. He taught at Lima Linda university and Andrews university with pride and then pastored in the Portland, Oregon area. He was proud to be an adventist. I lived him very much. When I married into the family it was truly a blessing. It was a blessing to know him as a man and a man of God. He lived his family and he loved his friends. He blessed everyone he came in contact with. He wrote several books and had even more in the making of which one of his grandaughters is going to publish them. May this man reat in peace knowing how much he was loved and how much he loved others. phkrause, LifeHiscost, Stan and 1 other 4 Quote

aka Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 It is beautiful and precious to me reading how you loved this passing brother in Christ. A wonderful testimony of how God worked through him to help you stay orientated to heavenly matters. I pray you will be comforted at this time with some special message from Jesus. Quote
LifeHiscost Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 After spending many years in the company of Jesus on earth and considering the many protecting miracles, incontrovertibly Divine watch care being responsible, my heart sings when I know a loved one is safe in the arms of Jesus for eternity. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory....1 Corinthians 15 My sorrow is for those who must remain more years on this ball of mire. My deepest sympathies, LilStar , God is Love!~Jesus saves!
