I believe the problem is that too much power is given to the Supreme Court.  The Constitution does not do a good job of defining their role.  As a result,over the years, the Court has defined its own role and given itself more and more power.

I read many of Scalia's rulings with mixed feelings.  Sometimes I think he hit the nail right on the head.  Other times I think he contradicts himself.

I do believe that Religious Liberty should trump other rights as it is the first right in the First Amendment.
