a little lower than the angels?

I've been pondering some questions.

When Jesus was born on this earth, was He then "created a little lower than the angels"?

If so, then at what point did He become "higher than the angels," and able to do His miracles?  It had to be before His temptations in the wilderness, otherwise the temptations would not have been valid.

I don't think Jesus "did" miracles.  I think the Father "did" miracles through Jesus.  Jesus stated that he only did what He saw the Father doing; and that of Himself, He did nothing.  Jesus looked for what the Father was blessing and did it.  We often do just the opposite - we ask the Father to bless what we are already doing. That being said, Jesus promised that Before His crucifixion, He was indeed lower than the angels.He became higher than the angels upon the Father accepting His sacrifice on our behalf (i.e., at the resurrection).  Just my opinion.  In John 14, Jesus said that if we believed, we would do greater things than He.

Didn't Jesus say that He did only those things His Father told Him to do?  Does that not imply He was accepting orders just like the rest of humanity must?  Second, don't we have multiple examples of the followers of God down through the ages doing miracles?  Does that mean those people were "above" the angels?  Third, Jesus always had a dual nature.  He was both divine and human at all times. 

I guess I don't really understand where you're coming from.   God gave His Son to the human race forever.  He will always be human, but He will also always be God. 

Also, don't we have multiple instances of angels doing miracles in the Bible?

John 14:10 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works." (NKJ)

The Father IS spirit. He indwelt His son.  This is what "anointed" means. 

Acts 2:22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know--

Jesus DID NOT resurrect Himself either.

Galatians 1:1 “Paul, an apostle not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead,”

Ephesians 1:17-20 “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,”

When Mrs White says "He came forth to power that was in Himself" - I can actually agree.  The power that was "in Him" - was the Spirit of His Father.

Romans 8:11 “But if the Spirit of Him [God the Father] who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

The Spirit of God - flowing through a human mind, "remembers" everything in that mind - much like the electricity flowing through your home computer "remembers" everything on your computer.  Even if you delete it (by death) the "Main Server" remembers  (as HC has found out). 

The SAME POWER that was "in Christ" is available to us.
