Stan Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Church Administrator Passes Away Retired Southern California Conference President Larry Caviness passed away on March 2, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Caviness was a long time church administrator who served as president from 1997 until his retirement in 2015. More New Andrews University President The Board of Trustees of Andrews University has announced the selection of Andrea Luxton as the new president of Andrews University. Luxton currently serves as the Provost for the University, and replaces Niels-Erik Andreasen who announced his retirement last year. More ARM President to Retire Robert E. Kyte, president and chief executive officer of Adventist Risk Management, Inc. (ARM), has announced his retirement from service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church and from ARM effective May 31, 2016. Kyte has led ARM since 2009. He will retire to pursue other business interests in Idaho. More Jesus 101 in Taiwan Elizabeth Talbot, PhD, Director of the Jesus 101 NAD Media Ministry, was the guest speaker for the annual SDA English speaking churches retreat (ECR) in Taiwan this week.
