Pass Down The Bill

If Congress makes Bush's tax cuts permanant will that be passing down the bill to future generations?

Well, to answer that question let's ask, if Congress does not make the tax cuts permenant and (this is not a given) revenues do go up, what will those revenues be used for?

I am all for balancing the budget and paying down the debt. But I don't want to see taxes go up only to see spending increase too.
