Currently I am reading about the part that intuition plays in the creative mind. Where does intuition come from? How does the subconscious GET those radical ideas in the first place? I interpret this as learning so much music theory that the spontaneity and embellishments that make for individual style get lost. It is like the spirit getting lost in the letter. Aliensanctuary Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 What really impresses me is the creativity of musicians, and how they come up with so many great songs, some not so great. Subconscious thoughts can rattle around in our brains until one day, the baby is born and a problem is solved, a project is conceived, or some new thing is created. CoAspen Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 I would say it is part of the brains ability. People develop in different ways over time and utilize the brain power they were born with. Intuition is making decisions quickly based knowing rather than exploring and consciously needing to understand what is the correct decision. It could also be that the individual is totally aware and absorbing all information that may have preceded the event taking place. Gail 1 Quote
