Moishe’s First Football Game

Moishe Markewitz worked in his company’s accounting department and befriended John Stevens from sales. John usually took clients to the local university football game but this time decided to take Moishe, who was not really much of a football fan but appreciated the gesture.

During the game, the home team was battered all over the field by the more dominant opponents. At one point, the referee blew his whistle; the call was "unnecessary roughness."

"You mean to tell me," said Moishe, "That all that roughness up until now has been NECESSARY?"
