The Gift of Imagination

Recommended Posts

Posted

The sun is bright shining in my eyes.Coming from the left just above the forehead, It does not hurt my eyes..

I hear the sound of a slowed tranquil whippoorwill.

I am in a rowboat.

Water is splashing on my face as the oars are hitting the water.

Its almost noticed.

The lake is a  blue and there is green of the forest beyond.

JESUS is sitting across from me.

I know it is Him.

I cannot see Him or even the form.

I can barely make out the feet. I don't really see them but it is the only thing i can distinguish.

I cannot tell who has the oars guiding the boat.

Is it me? Is it HIM?

Is it both of us?

I just know they are in movement splashing the water on my sun warmed face.

All I can say is "Praise GOD" over and over again.

I am overwhelmed with His Loveliness.

Loving on me a Sinner.

Adoring me.

Speaking inaudible kind words into my heart.

Yet not hearing a thing.

......................................

Such is a Gift of Imagination.

I spent my life day dreaming as a child. Not paying attention to school.

Drawing girls with my secret imagination. The present world was so painful.

I remember when i first about heaven.

My great aunt who loved me died when i was 5 years old.

I only remember seeing her maybe three times or more.

She was sanguine and always laughing.

I only got love from her.

When my mom told me she died she reassured me that Aunt Marie was in heaven.

I said "what is heaven?"

My mom said verbatim "it is a place you sit on a cloud and play the harp"

I thought to myself... It sounds better than being here.

Even at 5 I knew I didn't want to live.

Ever after I dreamed of HEAVEN!

....................................................

God gave us an imagination and we can use it for good or evil.

To think about hurting someone or connecting dots to invent something.

To escape reality or to create art in words or music or structures or paint.

To lust a body or to imagine them as a Child of God!

Looking up at the clouds and seeing trains or people or dolphins spewing out ocean water playfully.

In prayer we can see ourselves bowing before our Maker.

Bowing at the bottom of Pristine white marble steps that lead up to a Rainbow Throne?

Our Imagination can fill the gaps or nooks and crannies of scriptures written about the High and Holy ONE Lifted Up!.

God in a fiery chariot riding the thunderous clouds with lightning all around.

God holding onto the wet ground with tears of blood dreading the weight of being separated from ETERNITY for the first time.

Let your mind imagine GOD facing you with love for you every morning in prayer.

Looking onto the Author and Finisher of your Faith with your mind's eye.

#turn your eyes upon JESUS and look full onto His Wonderouse Face and the thing of this earth will grow strangely dim in the Light of His Glory and Grace

For all Eternity God waited in anticipation for  You  to show up to give You a Message - YOUR INCLUDED !!! { a merry dance }?️‍?

" If you tarry 'til you're better
You will never come at all "   .. "I Will Rise" by the late great saved  Glen Campbell

If your picture of God is starting to feel too good to be true, you're starting to move in the right direction. :candle:

"My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have, for both are infinite."

Romeo and Juliet
