California Voters Face Religious Liberty Issue

This is related to SB 1146 which is expected to be on voted on this coming November.   When such a notice is distributed by a SDA Church, as has been done, I am generally of the opinion of "convince me."   So, I read the actual proposed bill.    I agree with the evaluation of that bill as published above.  I do believe that it represents a potential threat to religious liberties.  It is true that I may agree with certain objectives of the proposed bill and some aspects of it.  However, overall, I believe that it is a greater threat to religious liberty than it is positive.

In any case, I bring it to the attention of California residents for their consideration as they decide how to vote on it this coming November.

NOTE:  If you plug "California SB 1146" into a search engine, you will come up with bills so numbered that were considered in prior years.   To read the actual bill referenced you will need to limit your search to the SB 1146 that is being considered in 2016.  Also, as this bill has been amended twice since it was submitted, be sure to consider the current version.
