MARILYN DILLOW COTTON

Dear friend Marilyn Dillow Cotton has passed away.   According to Spectrum Magazine, she died on May 20, 2016 in Loma Linda, at the age of 82..   She was a singer and a lovely person.   I've known her for more than fifty years, but hadn't stayed in touch during recent years. 

She sang on the TV program Faith For Today, along with Mary Ellen Byrd and Frances Bumby -- all three of them from Southern Adventist University (Southern Missionary College at that time), and they lived in New York City along with Elder and Mrs, Fagal.   She continued singing after Elder Vandeman took over the program.   She married Dan Cotton, a minister, and they had four daughters -- all of whom have now married and raised families of their own.

Sad news.   But we know we have something wonderful to look forward to.

I'm the same age as when she died. Makes me believe I need a little more time for development. However when ever God is ready, I'll be glad to go where His promises lead.

1“Don’t let your hearts be troubled.
