Dr. Shane Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 A few months ago I bought the Greatest American Hero box sets becuase I loved them when I was a kid. Well my kids seem to love them as much as I did. So for Alex's birthday we bought a couple of male barbies and a female one and had our taylor make a super hero suit for the male barbie with curly blond hair. The others we dressed like the other charchters in the program and we bought a barbie car. Well the taylor got the colors messed up and made the suit the color of the cape and the cape the color of the suit. So she said that she would get it right and bring it by this evening. Well Alex opened his gifts and wasn't too impressed. I put the dolls in the car and pushed it around. Then I handed it to him and he handed it back and said, "No thanks, daddy". Well, once the super hero suit showed up and we put it on the doll everything changed. He could hardly wait for us to get it on the doll. Then he put the others in the car and now he has it all in his bed sleeping with it. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity

Toni Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Happy Birthday, Alex! I used to watch The Greatest American Hero when I was a kid too. I remember playing the theme song in junior high band . Quote Toni
Michelle Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Believe it or not, I'm walking on air, I never thought I could feel so freeeeeeeee, flying away on a wing and a prayer, who could it be? Believe it or not, it's just me! I don't think that I EVER watched the program (we didn't have a TV) but I heard the song on the radio. M Quote
