Julian Assange: Hacked Emails Include Info On Hillary’s Arming of Jihadists, Including ISIS, in Syria

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton knew that the US was sending arms from Libya to Syria back in 2011, a year before the Benghazi consulate attacks.

Hillary Clinton denied she knew about the weapons shipments during public testimony (under oath) in early 2013 after the Benghazi terrorist attack.

Senator Rand Paul questioned Hillary Clinton about this gun running program back in January 2013 during her testimony on the Benghazi terrorist attack.

On Tuesday Julian Assange told Democracy Now that the Wikileaks DNC emails contains information on the weapons shipments to Syria.

Julian Assange: So, those Hillary Clinton emails, they connect together with the cables that we have published of Hillary Clinton, creating a rich picture of how Hillary Clinton performs in office, but, more broadly, how the U.S. Department of State operates. So, for example, the disastrous, absolutely disastrous intervention in Libya, the destruction of the Gaddafi government, which led to the occupation of ISIS of large segments of that country, weapons flows going over to Syria, being pushed by Hillary Clinton, into jihadists within Syria, including ISIS, that’s there in those emails. There’s more than 1,700 emails in Hillary Clinton’s collection, that we have released, just about Libya alone.

Is your beef with Assange and Snowden  just for their hacking? Is it possible Assange was able to hack Clinton's emails because she disobeyed State Dept. IT protocol?

I dunno... I did see plenty of American made weapons in ISIS propaganda films released in the news.

Does defending Hillary equate with thinking it ok to arm terrorists who kill many people? Is supporting Hillary for President saying it is ok for her to lie to the American people over the cause of an embassy attack? I think so on both accounts. You are who you vote for.

We might suspect that Obama and Hillary both subscribe to the Muslim Agenda of turning the USA into an Islamic nation, demonstrated by their actions on the war on ISIS, stepped-up immigration from Middle Eastern countries, and a pro-Islamic slant on domestic and educational policies.

I don't know if they actually "subscribe to it; I think they are being "politically correct"; motivated by fear of Islam's reaction if they weren't being tolerant.  In trying to avoid a war, they fail to realize we are already in one.

That being said, some of the things both Obama and Clinton have said and done make me wonder of they are just plain bat-poop crazy or purposeful conspirators.

To believe that Obama and Subscribe to any Muslim agenda for the USA is just plain bat poop crazy, for conspiracy minded. It does not even make any sense. So BPC crazy that I see no need to point out the many errors of such thinking.

The saying 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend' has come back to haunt many a nation. EX: We funded the Afghans in their war against the Russians. They then became our enemy when Russia left. Global politics and safety of countries often leads to situations that the average american has no knowledge of, or needs too, and they could be horrified it they knew. We have a free country, the world of today requires much unseemly activities behind the scenes. A fact of life. Snowden winds up in Russia for asylum...wonder why.

Obama did a good job of assisting the Muslim Brother Hood into power. Obama and his State Dept haven't done much to deal with ISIS.

Why was it immediately following the Paris attacks France was able to retaliate against the training camps? Why had we never hit those training camps. They didn't just magically appear. We had to of know those training camps existed long before the Paris attacks but we never hit them. Why?

Just because Fox Noise doesn't  report it doesn't mean it didn't happen.  The media in general only reports a small fraction of the military action that is in fact taken for two obvious reasons, a cost benefit priority to what sort of things get reported, and the government isn't in the habit of publicizing most of what it does militarily, for what should be fairly obvious reasons.

Consider this, those training camps were not likely the most high value ISIS targets. When you shoot a million dollar missle into a target, you try to get maximum return on that cost. And the US does target a lot of high value ISIS targets, including key training camps. And finally, the most likely reason France was able to "find" the specific training camps they attacked was using US intel help. As was the case in most of the ongoing battles in the last couple decades against terrorism, the US takes the lead and commits by far the most resources. Many of our allies commit token support by comparison.

Although true, the specific issue with the ISIS situation is this administration's inability to stop ISIS. Of course the military knew of the training camps and did not act on them but an act of terrorism conveniently provided France opportunity to 'show' force in retaliation.

Not intending to debate how I personally feel about the handling of ISIS but my opinion is it is all a sham. We must be using ISIS for some sort of means to some unknown ends.

The truth is out there but for many it is hard to believe.  People often respond by saying "they (the government) would never do that".

Robin Cook, a former foreign secretary for the British government writes:

Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Al-Qaida, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians. Inexplicably, and with disastrous consequences, it never appears to have occurred to Washington that once Russia was out of the way, Bin Laden's organisation would turn its attention to the west.

I believe ISIS came about in similar fashion.

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.

WikiLeaks Confirms Hillary Clinton Sold Weapons to ISIS?

As WikiLeaks released several batches of e-mails in October 2016, partisans claimed they confirmed Hillary Clinton sold weapons to ISIS.

Claim:
E-mails released by WikiLeaks confirm Hillary Clinton sold weapons to ISIS.
Rating:
What's True

In a July 2016 interview, Julian Assange (founder of WikiLeaks) contended that leaked e-mails painted a "rich picture" of Hillary Clinton's hawkish tendencies with respect to the Libyan intervention and referenced ISIS as the eventual beneficiary of weapons provided for that intervention.

What's False

No WikiLeaks e-mails confirm that Hillary Clinton directly and knowingly "sold weapons to ISIS."

⚖️ Assange on way to freedom

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange reached a plea deal that will result in his freedom 14 years after his organization published a massive trove of classified American documents.

  • Why it matters: The leak made the secret-sharing website a cause célèbre among many press freedom advocates who said Assange acted as a journalist to expose U.S. military wrongdoing.

Assange left a British prison yesterday and is expected to plead guilty to an Espionage Act charge of conspiring to unlawfully obtain and disseminate classified national defense information, the Justice Department said in a letter filed in court.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has agreed to plead guilty to a felony charge related to his alleged role in one of the largest US government breaches of classified material, as part of a deal with the Justice Department that will allow him to avoid prison time in the United States. Federal officials pursued Assange after his whistleblowing website published nearly half a million secret military documents relating to the US wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The 52-year-old Australian has spent the past five years in a high-security UK prison and nearly seven years before that holed up at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. The new plea deal allows Assange to return to Australia as a free man, but not until he has made a court appearance in a remote US territory in the Pacific.

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — He has run for office, published hundreds of thousands of leaked government documents online, and once lobbied to save his local swimming pool. One of the most polarizing and influential figures of the information age, Julian Assange is now free after five years in a British prison and seven years in self-imposed exile in a London embassy.
