Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted August 12, 2016 Moderators Posted August 12, 2016 Probably few people realize what it means to maintain a military force ready to go to war in any part of the world. What is required, on the basic level, is to practice the art of war. One such practice occurred June 7 - 17, in Poland. Those participating came from some 24 countries, including the United states. The total number of U.S. military personnel involved was over 13,000. They came with their trucks and all military equipment required to go to war. These included both active duty personnel and reservists the so-called week-end warriors. What many people do not realize is that when the U.S. goes to war, the reservists also go to war.
