Dr. Shane Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 I was driving on hwy 281 today and saw that a police car and two border patrol trucks had an old minivan pulled over and as I passed I saw them pulling out two bails of marijuana that must have been 4'x4'x4'. I have lived here eight years and that is the first time I witnessed that. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
darlene Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Well, in British Columbia it is almost a daily matter. BC Bud is known as some of the best in the world and many people try to get their share of the market. We have a problem with rental houses being used for grow-ops. Just last month (or December) they discovered a tunnel into the U.S. about 20 miles from here. Organized crime is becoming a real problem. I'm not bragging. I think it is a real shame! Quote
Dr. Shane Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 It is big business here along the border. One of my neighbors was busted. He was a truckdriver smuggling it up north. But I had never witnessed a bust go down before - not even when they busted my neighbor. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
