How well do you understand what you can and can not de duct from U.S. taxes?  The following raises ten (1) questions for you to consider.

NOTE:  As this organization is focused on military people  a couple of the questions may not apply to you if you are not of military background.

I missed one.  I didn't know that the interest paid by a parent on a child's student loan can be deducted by the child who isn't a dependent.

That's kinda weird to be able to deduct money that you yourself didn't even pay.
