The similarities between Alma B. White and Ellen G. White are major as are the differences.

*  Both were female religious visionaries.

*  Both were born in the 1800's, died in the 1900's and lived 8o+ years.

* Both founded (or co-founded) religious denominations that exist today.

* Alma White was tainted with racism and association with the KKK.

*  Both founded denominations  had a focus on education, and media.

*  Alma White's 2nd denomination has a deep interest in a vegetarian diet.

*  The schools (grade and High School) of Alma White's denomination (the one that exists today) is known for its quality and professionalism and attracts SDA Students.

*  Both women (Alma & Ellen) came out of a Methodist background.

*  The denomination founded by Alma White worships today on Sunday.

*  Both women engaged in missionary work in a foreign country (Great Britian & Australia).

What is the name of the denomination, founded by Alma White, that exists today?

NOTE:  It was founded in 1917.

For those of you with a long memory, several years ago, I posted about this denomination.

Its members are generally quite friendly to SDAs.

You are correct.  The Pillar of Fire Church is the denomination that exists today.  Thy had a major church, radio station (KPOF) and school, with a very good reputation, in Denver.

One thing that indicates the major difference as to the spirit that led one of the women as opposed to the other is found in the quote below. No matter how delicious the water may be that one drinks, if poison is mixed with it, it will lead to death. Truth mixed with error is the same, as is man's traditions opposed to the clear Word

Under White's leadership in the 1920s and 1930s, the

Pillar of Fire Church developed a close and public partnership with the Ku Klux Klan that was unique for a religious denomination
