Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted September 16, 2016 Moderators Posted September 16, 2016 We in the process of refinancing the loan on our home in order to obtain a better interest rate. As part of this process a credit check was made on us. Within two hours of that credit check being made our current loan holder has sent us an e-mail advising us that they would like to work with us on a loan refinance. It appears that they will continue to send us such on a daily basis. I have checked in to this and discovered: 1) The credit scoring companies know when a credit check is being made for a loan refinance on a home. 2) For a fee, those companies will notify the current loan company that it appears that a refinance is being considered. Like I say, Big Brother knows what you are doing and sells that information to others. Quote Gregory
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted September 16, 2016 Members Posted September 16, 2016 TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax get immediate notification from any place that does a credit check on anyone here in the US. I hadn't read that those three would notify any bank/lending company that someone was looking into refinancing.. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
