Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted September 16, 2016 Moderators Posted September 16, 2016 Probably (?) all administrators of websites that allow comments to be posted struggle with posted comments that are not civil. Adventist Today also struggles with such. The following URL discusses this and notifies people of a software package that they have purchased and will install over the next few weeks. Note, also the comments that people have made to this announcement. NOTE: Do not take this as an indicator that CA will purchase and install such software. http://atoday.org/new-comment-software-to-be-installed-on-the-adventist-today-web-site/ Quote Gregory
Outta Here Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Maybe there's a free version online that could be installed here. Quote
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted September 16, 2016 Members Posted September 16, 2016 while I don't particularly enjoy reading some posts that people write (and definitely don't want to see vulgar language), if all subjective rude and snotty comments are eliminated, a forum (or other online site where comments are made) would run the risk of losing viewers/participants due to the rubber-necking factor. phkrause 1 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
