If you look at the picture in Spectrum magazine regarding this letter Daniel Jackson is sitting next to Dr. Sandy Roberts President of Southeastern California Conference. He sat next to her to assure her of his support. General Conference Policy forbids a non ordained person from being president of a conference. This policy is only 15 to 20 years old. It was not always this way. Since the General Conference do not recognize DR. Sandy Roberts as ordained due to her gender you can be assured the fight will be directed against SouthEastern California Conference IF the GC wins their fight against Pacific Union. It will be a year of talking first before the GC decides IF they will take punitive action against Pacific Union and other Unions in Europe and the USA for ordaining Women.

It should be noted that many years ago, a female served as President of the Iowa Conference for a short period of time.

But, that was prior to the policy that forbid women from doing such.
