Dr. Shane Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 He also recieved a nearly $2 million fine. Eight years or even the maximum of ten years is a little light if you ask me. Politicians occupy a position of public trust and when they betray that trust the punishment ought to be severe. So he has to pay back all the money and serve eight years. He will probbally get out early on good behavior and one of his fat cat friends that earned millions because of him will give him a job making $100k+.
