Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted October 31, 2016 Moderators Posted October 31, 2016 See: https://adventistbiblicalresearch.org/sites/default/files/(%2356)3.pdf The General Conference Biblical Research Institute (BRI) has released a document that recommends a position on surrogate motherhood. The mission of BRI is to provide advice to the General Conference and its elected officials. It does not exist to provide advice to the general SDA membership. Further, while it provides advice and recommendations, it does not establish either SDA policy, SDA doctrine or official SDA positions. I am providing the above link as I consider it to be of interest. I am fully aware that there well be those who agree with it as well as those who will disagree with it. Whatever your reaction may be to it, consider it in the context of what I have stated above. Quote Gregory
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted October 31, 2016 Members Posted October 31, 2016 while I understand someone's desire to have a biological child, it does seem sad to use a surrogate when there are so many children waiting to be adopted... phkrause 1 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup.
