CNN parts ways with Donna Brazile after debate questions were provided to Clinton

X

CNN has severed ties with Donna Brazile, the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee and a longtime contributor on the network, after hacked emails revealed Brazile provided questions in advance to Hillary Clinton's campaign during the Democratic primary debates on CNN.

Brazile actually resigned on Oct. 14, a CNN spokesperson confirmed. Her deal had been suspended in July when she took over for ousted DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

"CNN never gave Brazile access to any questions, prep material, attendee list, background information or meetings in advance of a town hall or debate. We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor," said a network spokesperson in a statement.

Brazile also was an on-air contributor on ABC News, where she was a frequent presence at the This Week roundtable. And like CNN, the network suspended her contract when she took the reigns at the DNC. It's unclear if ABC News also will make the separation permanent.

what's bad is that Hillary accepted and used the information...

(some could say she didn't know the questions were leaked, but that would be assuming she was stupid.  And Hillary isn't stupid.)

Those radical right-wingers are doing everything in their power to defeat Hillary.

CNN is radical right wing??   Donna Brazile  Chairwoman of the DNC a radical right wing? Tell me.when does the left wing take responsibility? Or did a radical right winger hold a gun to   Donna Brazile head and force her to do this?

Longtime Clinton Ally Stuns Fox News Host, Withdraws Support of Hillary on Live Television

BY JASON HOWERTON

Democratic pollster and longtime Clinton ally Doug Schoen revealed on Sunday that he is no longer supporting Hillary Clinton for the nation’s highest office.

Schoen told Fox News host Harris Faulkner that he decided to reconsider his support of Clinton due to the ongoing FBI investigation into her private email use while serving as secretary of state.

“As you know, I have been a supporter of Secretary Clinton,” he said. “But if the secretary of state wins, we will have a president under criminal investigation, with Huma Abedin under criminal investigation, with the secretary of state, the president-elect, should she win, under investigation.”

When Schoen confirmed he is “actively reassessing” his support for Clinton, Faulkner reacted in shock.

“Whoa, whoa, wait a minute,” the host interrupted. “You are not going to vote for Hillary Clinton?”

The Democrat said he is “deeply concerned” the country will have a “constitutional crisis if she's elected.”

“Wow!” Faulkner reacted.

Then Schoen offered a more definitive statement on the matter:

“I want to learn more this week. See what we see. But as of today, I am not a supporter of the secretary of state for the nation's highest office.”

Schoen, a former adviser to former President Bill Clinton, said he has known the Clintons since 1994, but is pulling back from Hillary Clinton “because of the impact on the governance of the country and our international situation.”

FBI Director James Comey announced on Friday that the agency is looking into new potentially relevant emails connected to the investigation into Clinton’s private email server, but offered few other details. Officials reportedly obtained a warrant to examine tens of thousands of new emails on a laptop shared by top Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.

The Clinton campaign has done its best to downplay the relaunched investigation, criticizing Comey for not including more details in its announcement.

That really is a good example of the polarization and the vilifying/bullying/discrediting of any one person or group of  people in this internet age.

Ever go on a christian web sight saying "o hello" and then deemed the enemy and everyone and the dog attack?

It is important to fit in and be liked if not affirmed altogether.

Even putting up posts and having a friend or a stranger put 'like' can brighten a day.

What a world we are creating before our very eyes!

It can start on the internet then .. you walk out the door and there are people in front of your house ( was it the mother  of the child who jumped into the Silverback Gorilla  Zoo place that info was released on husbands past criminal offense and their current address?).

People face to face with judgement/hatred at you. Throwing tomatoes or rocks. your disgruntled Neighbors giving interviews to the media.

Everybody assuming the worse about you.

..of course a DIEHARD Trump  Innocent Fan/Family walks into a pro HRC internet sight  and says "zeik heil!" ... :tomato: ..umm  i mean "o hello" and get attacked too

but Jeanieb43 your quote brings it home for me on any subject/person/group that gets the society ire.

What a world we Christians are creating before our very eyes.

Singling out anybody who becomes the new scapegoat to all the world.

How we as Christians have repeatedly throughout History failed to see we are part of the problem in this.

I am guilty too.

# We can only hope the caves we run to has no internet :P

Poor Hillary, hasn't caused her own problems. Imagine that.  Making her a scapegoat because of her lier lies and deceit in everything she touches.

Some  radical right wing somebody has made her lie for decades. If they would only leave her alone she could continue to pretend as her supporters do. I know it is a novel and unchristian thing to say but just when does Hillary Clinton take responsibility for her own lies?
