Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted November 5, 2016 Administrators Posted November 5, 2016 A respected and able advocate for religious liberty. I have not seen him in years, but earlier in my career I had occasion to meet and work with him. Our Church has worked many times over the years with the Baptist Joint Committee (BJC) on religious libert issues and projects. Coincidentally I was just in a meeting all day yesterday with a group of lawyers representing a wide variety of religious denominations. The BJC General Counsel and Associate Executive Director sat just across the table from me. I have known her for quite a few years. If you visit the BJC website, she and Brent both appear in their brief video introduction to BJC. Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)
