**Surprise, SURPRISE** -- last night on the History Channel's AMERICAN PICKERS TV show it featured a segment on John Harvey Kellogg & Ellen White and the SDA Church!  The pickers had located an old Mechanical Bull exercise machine that had been invented by Kellogg at the Battle Creek Sanitarium, and the TV show included the historical background of who Kellogg was and they included Ellen White!  National TV exposure!  Here are some screen shots....

Interesting!  I wish I'd known about the program.  I'd have watched it..

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony.

Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Oops, I mistakenly called the machine a "Mechanical Bull" when the label on it actually calls it a "Mechanical Horse"....

If you had called it a mechanical goat I would not have argued with you.

A favorite show.  I had recorded it and have now watched it.  Very interesting.  A positive coverage actually, compared to what it could have been.

"Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good."

"Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal."

"I love God only as much as the person I love the least."

*Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth.

(And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)
