Drunk Driving

A couple days ago a drunk driver ran through a speed dip in the road (meant to slow drivers down) at a high speed and became airborne. He came down on top of a Ford Mustang, t-boning it. The three people in the Mustang were killed on impact. On was a Border Patrol officer, another was a customs officer and the third was her husband. Over 10,000 people are killed each year by drunk drivers in America alone.

In Texas a first-time DWI has a maximum penalty of six months in jail and a $2,000 fine. NOT ENOUGH. There is no reason for these deaths. These are not the result of illness, old age or war. They are sensless deaths and there should be more outrage.
