Stan Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Today I ate an apple, yesterday I ate one, chances are good tomorrow I will eat one as well. I enjoy eating Gala apples, pink ladies and couple of others. I can generally tell from the outside what I am going to get. Apples are pretty regular that way. I am a Christian. Can people tell from the outside what I am like inside? I have to ask myself that question as I enjoy eating another apple. A rotten apple can spoil a whole bag of apples. All the other apple can not make the rotten one better, and they need to be separated unless they become infected. The apple itself can not make itself better, no matter how hard it tries. The only way a rotten apple can be made better is if the Creator is willing to make it over. Still a rotten apple can produce good seeds for the next generation of apples. We can all learn a lot by looking at apples. My boyfriend told me they have discovered scientifically that a rotting apple gives off some sort of chemical that will cause other food nearby to spoil more rapidly as well. So if you keep apples in your fridge, don't let them sit there too long!!! If one is going bad it will not just spoil the rest, but could spoil ALL your food as well!
