Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted January 27, 2017 Moderators Posted January 27, 2017 See: http://atoday.org/my-take-is-it-really-about-unity/ We are united – but not in agreement — about doctrine. We are united in affirming the liturgical practices and other rituals of the church, but not in agreement on how these are done. We are united in recognizing authority within the church, but not in agreement about how we exercise that authority. Our disagreements, differences, and diversity are all part of the fabric of who we are – the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Ethnic and cultural differences do not account for all the differences among us. It seems to me that just about every mark of unity within the Seventh-day Adventist Church is also a sign and site of disagreement, diversity, and maybe even division. Quote Gregory
