President Donald Trump is going to be taking a much different approach than Barack Obama to unhinged leftists rioting in the streets, which was demonstrated in his response to the riots at U.C. Berkeley last night.

Conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos was scheduled to speak at the school when the campus quickly devolved into chaos, forcing his evacuation as rioters destroyed buildings, set things on fire, and assaulted supporters of President Trump. But according to Breitbart News, such displays of unrest aren’t likely to be tolerated for too long by our new president.

In a now-viral tweet, President Trump threatened to pull funding from Berkeley is they continue to allow lawlessness on their campus.

Clearly a much different approach than we had grown to expect from Obama.

 

Following the violent outbursts across campus, Yiannopoulos was interviewed by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson and highlighted the fact that the left seems to hate any and all views that don’t specifically align with their own.

“The left is profoundly antithetical to free speech these days, does not want to hear alternative points of view, and will do anything to shut it down,” Yiannopoulos told Carlson. “My point is being proven over and over and over again.”

Indeed it is. This isn’t the first event Yiannopoulos has had to cancel due to unhinged protesters, and it likely won’t be the last.

However, now we actually have a president who appears willing to do something about the violence from the left, so it won’t be long before this kind of thing is nipped in the bud.

So now we know what a 'leftist' is, doesn't sound like what the above 'blurb' is try to attribute to people, if so, what does that say about Trump politics?

If you burn and destroy to attempt to prevent someone from saying what you don't agree with you have earned far more than a label. You can dialog from now till the second coming and it doesn't change what has been done here. If you destroy someone else's property,there should be stiff penalties. Personally I would like to see those that destroy federal property because they disagree with what someone might say and are there on scholarship or federal student loans to have that immediately rescinded. Regardless if it is a liberal thug or a conservative thug.

The labeling was flat out wrong, meant to stir up more rather than calm down things. He is an agitater him just like the those dressed in black stirred up the crowds. He lives off  that stuff and I doubt that he is in the least concerned about free speech. He is against, by his rhetoric, social equality. That in itself puts him more on the side of 'free speech' with caveats. His/Brietbart views on equality, free speech, etc are very troublesome.

Apparently the thugs thought the same with caveats.

A peaceful protest or simply don't attend is one thing  If I was supporting a son or daughter at this college and they involved themselves in something like this for any reason against anyone,the first thing that would happen is all support for any reason would stop immediately. I would expect and demand before they could even consider coming home to live is a willingness to make restitution wherever possible. If they are old enough to make the decision to destroy property and endanger the lives of others they are old enough to make it on their own.

I would be completely ashamed of their behavior and heartsick at my failure to instill the values I wanted them to have as a parent .

When people resort to violence because they dislike what someone says, it's very clear that they don't like free speech.  I don't see conservatives and libertarians out burning things down, only the left.
