• how evil the SDA church is for allowing any sort of abortion procedures in its hospitals

• ridiculing and denigrating the POTUS

 

This hasn't become a very pleasant place to visit...

 

(I've tried starting other topics, but it doesn't appear that anyone is interested in anything except topics where one's anger can be taken out on others.  That is just so depressing.)

I think I have you beat as to how often we show up, not that it is a contest.  It's been six years since I have been here.  I didn't think I would even be able to log in it has been so long.  I had to look in my account to see when I had last posted to even tell you when I had been here last.

Wow.  You must have a memory like an elephant.  I can barely remember me posting here and I'm the one who was doing the posting.  I looked at some of my old posts and I don't even remember writing most of them.

In the old days of SDA forums gone-by there are some who stand out for me when they write of their abusive growing up years. Especially when they report having had alcoholic Parent/parents.

I identify with such ones because of my similar  experiences. 

I have the faint recollection of you calling yourself LawDog. And that you joined in a few of the ongoing debates on this site.

Yes, I had an alcoholic father.  A dry drunk.  As to calling myself LawDog I have no recollection of ever doing that.  I vaguely remember there being someone with that handle, but to the best of my memory it was not me. 

I did join into a "few" of the ongoing debates back then, that is for sure.  Few.  LOL.  Probably more like phew.

I would not really call it a correction as such.  I simply cannot remember doing it, but my memory on the subject is very hazy.  That you remember me is far more than I can say of you.  Not trying to insult, just the plain facts.  So, you may be right and I may be wrong.  I simply have no explicit memory of a LawDog.  It has been too much water under the bridge since then for me.  To tell the truth I remember only 1 or 2 of the the posters I have seen posting here since I've been back .  I do remember this place used to be far more active, but that is about it.
