joeb Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 How can you know you are one or the other? It's easy to tell. The existentialist brings everything he learns to his beliefs and experience, and if it doesn't match up with that, then it is false. The Christian brings everything he believes, and his experience, to the Bible and judges his beliefs and experience by the objective truth of the Bible. Gary K Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 I guess by this definition I would have to say I am a Christian. I have never understood why anyone would read the Bible and claim to be a Christian while rejecting the parts of it that disagree with their ideas. Wouldn't that make them their own God? Quote
