On the morning of her birthday she woke up and told Moishe, "I just dreamed that you gave me a diamond ring for my birthday. What do you think it all means?" "Aha, you'll know tonight," answered Moishe smiling broadly. That night, Moishe approached Miriam and handed her a small package. Delighted and excited, she opened it quickly.
