The Close of Probation, II

I do believe in new ways of seeing old beliefs. One of the more interesting ones to
come to my attention was presented at the 2016 GYC in Houston. In this sermon, the
idea presented was the close of probation, it will end because no more sins are
being sent to heaven for forgiveness.

To me that means that the righteous will have overcome and finally, God has a people
who have formed a character like Jesus within them and they no longer sin. This does
not mean they have never sinned or they do not still have sinful urges, but they
have ceased to sin. They will be like Jesus when He lived on earth and while living
with sinful flesh, He lived a spotless sin free life.

The wicked have come to the place where the image of God has been so erased from
their characters that they no longer confess their sins with a true remorse for
their sin and a desire to be like God and be with God.

Therefore, the Sanctuary goes out of business.

The point being made here is starting about @ 1:08:00 in the video and the sermon
itself starts at 48:00. This sermon is one of the most powerful sermons I have heard
recently.

What I found interesting was the concept that the close of probation is not an
arbitrary cutting off of mercy, but a going out of business because there is no more
genuine repentance and seeking forgiveness of sin. The righteous have the character
of Jesus and have overcome while the wicked no longer care or have any genuine
sorrow for sin.

Why will God keep a record of sins He said He will remember NO MORE?  What is there to cleanse in heaven when NOTHING impure can enter it?

My perception exactly. I have no misgivings re: God's willingness to give all to those who have the slightest inclination to receive His unfailing love, as well as cutting short at the earliest point of time, any pain caused as a result of one's own willingness to hold on to anything that defiles the soul.

Nahum 1:8-10 NKJV

Perhaps we are not to the point where He will remember no more. I have come across the belief, which I can agree with, that that moment will occur when God says "... Let the righteous be righteous still." One of the beliefs regarding the tribulation period is the righteous will search their souls for unconfessed sin and will not be able to find any. Because not only will God no longer remember, but neither will the soul under tribulation. Because if the righteous person could remember, then God would know and remember! Weird thing about it all is, I do not think the Devil will be able to remember either or he would have something to torment the now sealed, saved, and sinless person waiting for the coming of Jesus.

The mission that Christ gave to the apostles while still on this earth was to 'preach the gospel to every nation, kindred, tongue and people, then shall the end come.' Whenever that mission is accomplished, the words "It is done" will be uttered in heaven as the seventh angel pours out his vial into the air (Rev. 16:15-17). Probation has then been closed forever, and those who belong to Christ have been determined, and those who are not His, the wicked, will have their part of the 2nd resurrection.
