Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted March 23, 2017 Members Posted March 23, 2017 interesting, but religious persecution existed in Scotland well into the mid-late 1700s. That's why so may Scotch-Irish came to America. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
LifeHiscost Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Reading stories from VOM.com puts one in contact with many stories of those in this day who are giving up their lives as a result of serving Jesus according to the Word. As I understand it the Christian faith is the most persecuted faith there is,m world wide, and today as a result of Sharia law, many times the death is either by burning alive or beheading. Jesus is coming soon. Revelation 7:2-4 KJV 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
