In February, 2017k the median cost of housing in California was;

Sacramento County:  Resale, $310,500;  New home, $410,780.

Eldorado County:      Resale, $400,000; New home, 540,750.;

Placer County:          Resale, $425,000; New home, $493,000.

By the end of 2017, the median price of housing is projected to be:

Los Angeles County:   $460,000.

San Francisco:            $1,300.000.

I would be interested in the figures for the Mode, but those were not given.

I'll stick with St. Louis. Median cost of housing in St. Louis is about $115,000. (We live well below that cost.)
