Muhammad A. Ahmad, "Talking to the Dead, The Saturday Evening Post, March/April 2017, Page's 10 & 86.

In this article, the author postulates a time when one could embed a simulation of a dead person in a  virtual reality environment that would allow one to associate and communicate with that dead person.

Access to that digital simulation would be accomplished by a headset such as Oculus Rift.  NOTE:  As it exists now, you can google it for more information.

In this postulation, the gait, idiosyncrasies, mannerisms, undulations, laugh and much more is digitally recreated to near-perfect similitude.

Success will be determined by whether or not the digital simulation can pass the Touring Test.   NOTE:  The Touring Test measures the inability to distinguish between whether or not the response come from a machine or from an actual human.

For a discussion of the merits and dangers in such a situation, please read the actual article.
