The End of Atlantic Union College

As some of you know,  Atlantic Union College (AUC) closed in 2011 due to some complex issues which included finances.    In 2015 a group of dedicated supporters attempted to bring it to a new birth.  However, in that formulation, it lacked accreditation and it only offered two degrees, neither of which had standing--Religion and Theology. 

The Southern New England Conference, one of six in the Atlantic Union, has announced that effective this summer it will end its financial support, believed to be some $800,000 a year.  It is expected that this will be a death blow that  likely bring AUC down.

Neither link worked GM!! Message I got was "Not Found." Anyway, sorry to hear that about AUC. I worked in the printing department from '72-'82, when they sold the print business to a local guy. I guess I'll call my friend that actually runs the maintenance dept and see whats up.

Some are still trying to get the college going!  They may not be telling the whole truth, nothing but the truth. Will see what happens.
