Moderators james423 Posted June 11, 2017 Moderators Posted June 11, 2017 When I taught English in Malawi, we were told that a group of East African students went to London and spoke to a group of West African students - all in English. Turns out that neither group could understand the other. How true that story is I don't know, but considering the wide variations we get in spoken English here at Laurelbrook and the wide variations among the missionaries we served with in Malawi it might possibly be true.
